So in this video let us know the section 143, Assessments.
The first notice you receive is under section 143(2) which is compulsory to receive within 3 months of closing of assessment year.
The assessment is completed within 12 months of closing.
You will have to pay attention that your scrutiny that is selected is limited scrutiny or complete scrutiny because in complete scrutiny the officer will give you complete questioner and can ask for balance sheet points and p&l points
But in Limited Scrutiny you get only limited points which usually based on CASS Report, CASS report~ Computer Assisted Scrutiny Selection
In this type of Assessment you receive notice under Section 143(2) and then you receive notice under Section 142(1) in which there is a questionnaire and lot of information is asked from you
If you do reply rightly then and order is issued under section 143(3) and if you does not reply then officer decides your case on best judgement
But before the officer issues you the order he has to give you multiple opportunity and has to issue show cause in last.
