A little bit of workshop action for you all.

Replacing the bottom bracket on my pub bike/beater/spare commuting bike. The old one developed a strange threading problem in the non-drive side, causing the crank to un-tighten itself while riding along, not fun!
Despite changing cranksets etc, the problem persisted, so i took out the BB and ordered a new Shimano one from Chain Reaction Cycles.

Also decided to put a different chainset on the bike, think i refer to it as a crankset in the video (doh!), which i bought as new-old-stock from a bike shop that was closing down in Cambridge.
The pedals were ones i had in my parts box from a previous build, they look pretty cool but are not much use in the wet as they have no foot retention. I might just whack a cheap pair of MTB/BMX pedals on to get a bit more grip. Speaking of BMX's, a shout goes out to Billys' Bikes of Cambridge, a cool bike/skate shop where i have bought a fair few bits and bobs, nice people there too.

You have to love Schwalbe Marathon tyres, They last forever and are very resistant to punctures, i run them on my touring bike too. This bike takes massive 35C ones, Nice!

Lastly i hope adding a bit of music is okay with you viewers, not sure if it will prevent it playing in some regions, throw me a message/comment if there is an issue and i will change it. The song i used is called "Why Is A Frog Too?" by Bentley Rhythm Ace, it can be found on their 1997 self titled album on Skint/Parlophone Records. Not much else to say, hope the video is interesting. I promise i'll do a cycling vid soon, as in one where i am out and about on a bike.
