2000-2005 Bonneville Dash Cluster Removal & Stepper Motor Replacement **Any Early 2000's GM Cluster*

Is your early 2000's GM suffering from erratic gauges? This car in particular is a 2002 Bonneville SLE, but the procedure for replacing the stepper motors is the same for any GM from the 2000-2005 time frame. Since the vehicle in the video is a Bonneville, I also show you how to remove the cluster from the car.

You can find replacement stepper motor kits on eBay all day long. What you need to look for is the part number X27.168. This particular kit also included replacement lamps for the gauge illumination (which I chose not to replace this time around, but would absolutely recommend replacing if you have the cluster apart.)
