In today's episode of NewsHour Agenda with Madhavdas Gopalakrishnan on Times Now, the prime-time debate show discusses the Prajwal Revanna sexual assault case.
Soon after Prajwal Revanna's arrival from Munich to Bengaluru on May 31, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) women’s team SP and inspectors arrested him and escorted him to the CID headquarters. He was later subjected to a medical test and then produced before the court. The SIT argues that Prajwal is a sexual pervert and that they need to investigate the matter thoroughly. Prajwal Revanna claimed political vendetta even before his arrival. He has now been given 6 days of SIT custody.

We have been joined by few panelists for further discussion:
We must not forget that Prajwal's family is very strong politically and socially. Between both parties (Cong & BJP), it is the victims and their families who are suffering. The SIT is doing a fantastic job, but, says Brinda Adige.
Nobody questioned the BJP when female wrestlers were protesting against Brij Bhushan. However, questions are now being raised on the Karnataka government. The government has formed an SIT, says Umer Junaidi.
