This is a daring composition by Francis Kurkdjian utilizing only four main notes: violet leaf, musk, patchouli, and amber. Being a violet-leaf dominant scent, it is not for everyone. If you like scents like Green Irish Tweed and Dior Fahrenheit, this should be up your alley as it straddles the feel of both these fragrances. It has a cucumber-fresh opening that quickly comes down to leave a musk-powdery scent, along with a bitter leafiness and earthiness. People say it is reminiscent of wet concrete, and I totally get that. The thing that may be off-putting is this slightly rubbery feel that the combination of violet leaf, some sweetness from amber, and earthy patchouli create.
