A healthy lymphatic system is a key ingredient in digestive, immune, and mental health, and especially important to those with compromised immune systems. As a certified lymphedema therapist, occupational therapist and yoga instructor, Babz will help us understand the system of beautiful lymphatic rivers flowing through our bodies, and how to improve lymphatic health through yoga that focuses on deep breathing, self manual lymph drainage, muscle pump activation, and mindfulness. Come ready to learn, and practice an accessible, gentle chair lymph flow sequence for the whole body.

Barbara “Babz” Jackson-Tobin bio: Babz is an occupational therapist, lymphedema therapist, certified yoga teacher, and a reiki master. She is the founder of Lymph Flow Yoga, specifically designed to improve lymphatic health. Babz works in outpatient occupational therapy at Massachusetts General Hospital, and frequently collaborates with cancer care professionals at Dana Farber Cancer center. Her mom, a breast cancer survivor who manages lymphedema, is Babz’ ongoing inspiration.
