Viscosity of CMC Solutions at various concentrations

This video shows the viscosity and flow characteristics of correctly hydrated Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) Solutions at a range of concentrations up to 3%.

All samples were dispersed and hydrated using a Silverson High Shear Laboratory mixer. Results will vary according to the type and grade of CMC used.

Higher concentration can be achieved depending on the ingredient type.
