One in four women is a victim of domestic violence. It’s the number one cause of injury to women, more than car accidents, muggings, and rape combined.

The connection between physical trauma and the brain is undeniable, too. The effects of domestic violence have been found to impact a victim’s long-term mental health.

Survivors often experience PTSD, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and a lost sense of identity.

So Leap to Success, part of the Stand Together Foundation’s Catalyst Network, offers a new take on standard domestic violence resources and services.

With an approach that centers around women supporting women, the nonprofit organization's programs help provide a path to recovery and healing.
