[4K] Aurigny Dornier Do-228NG Full Flight Experience: Southampton to Alderney

A plane that has been on our want-to-fly list for several years now, the Dornier Do228. Aurigny operates this plane on it's Channel Islands routes from Southampton to Alderney and Guernsey. The great staff at Southampton let us board early so we could walk around the aircraft to take some photographs and videos. The flights themselves were good and really enjoyable, although takeoff and landing were pretty bumpy. After landing in Alderney, we had the chance to take even more photos of the plane as we were allowed again to wonder around beautiful Do228. Then, we headed to the cliffs of Alderney to spot the garret colony, which is an impressive sight as well. Alderney really is a beautiful island, and we would love to go back some day! Then, the Dornier arrived back from Guernsey, and the airport staff let us shoot its arrival from the (windy) control tower. We boarded again and the flight back to Southampton was also very good. We would like to thank the crews of Aurigny, the staff at Southampton Airport and the staff at Alderney Airport for all the amazing opportunities they gave us to capture these two great spectecular flights!
