Painting a Smoker's / Hoarder's House

How to clean and paint a smoker’s house with thick smoke, tar and nicotine on all of the walls. I started by cleaning the walls with TSP cleaner then sanded with 120 grit sandpaper using my Wen drywall sander. After sanding, I primed the walls and ceiling with cover stain oil base primer and then applied Behr paint plus primer. End product the walls look close to new. This method is the fastest way I have used to paint when everything needs done.
