The keyboard hobby embodies so many aspects, the likes of aesthetics and acoustics, all to ultimately highlight our largely mundane tangible interface to increasingly ubiquitous technology.

The maximal joy I've found in the years in the hobby has been in many aspects of the hobby that are cryptic to those that have not yet delved into the journey that is the keyboard hobby with only a significantly small semblance of enjoyment and fulfillment found in the destination.

The act in searching and pining for specifically desired components for a build harken a joy reminiscent of childhood eagerness associated to the anticipation felt while crafting a birthday or Christmas wishlist.

The build with all of its stresses in hoping for an exemplary, if at all usable, end product recall the machinations conjured on those celebratory days when gifts on that wishlist were granted. Peeling back the wrapping paper, carefully accessing a new trinket, and the tinkering inevitable when first attempting play.

This keyboard embodies the spirit of that nostalgia and how that child-like wonder can be eternally sought.
