This game definitely is one of the better e-sports released lately. The learning curve is smooth. Positioning plays an immense role in this game, just as clutch timing and reflexes. There is still a lot of depth to it. And most importantly :

EASY TO LEARN, HARD TO MASTER.

This was the thing that killed Knockout City for me. Lack of depth. And sadly the devs never recognized it and threw the game into free to play at the request of a number of players... Which killed the game even further because paid players felt cheated and smurfing skyrocketed until no one was finding beginner friendly games.

I sincerely hope this game doesn't end up going down a similar path.

Matchmaking currently is really rough. This should be priority number one on the devs end and I think it is. I HOPE it is. For now, if you are getting into the game, jump straight into ranked (or play PvE until you understand all the mechanics). As counter-intuitive as it is, ranked will start you at the absolute bottom of the ladder, meaning you'll most-likely play with beginner players for the most part.
