About the Presenter:
Simon Barker is a lifelong professional horticulturist whose career has been shaped by a deep passion for plants and people. He holds a BS in Horticulture from Reading University in England and previously worked as a student intern at the Missouri Botanical Garden. Simon and his wife, Monica, managed the wholesale growing operation at Bowood Farms for 15 years before launching their own business. They also co-owned and helped establish Native Landscape Solutions for 11 years. With a career as diverse as Missouri’s native flora, Simon is dedicated to inspiring and guiding gardeners toward more resilient, native-focused landscapes.
