Angry Birds Rio marked the first major IP collab in the history of the franchise, partnering up with 20th Century Fox and Blue Sky Studios latest, and their latest theatrical release, Rio. While it may appear to be another shameless reskin of the original, do not be deceived, as Rio arguably was the most innovative game of its time, introducing countless features and minor tweaks that truly make it stand out from the rest (movie tie-in aside of course). Being a mainline title, it of course commanded a plush or two set of its own, which is why we are here today. But I heed the same warning: do not overlook the Rio set's lore. These plushies have some of the most fascinating history with respect to all the sets we've covered up to this point. So let's dive into their history, and nitpick one of the most iconic plush sets of the Classic era. This video will include analysis, postulations, and some storytelling.
