BLIP is a new collaborative project/band between Dom Spitaliere and Alex Kuhn. It can only described as “Submarine Music" ; heavy in influence from both psychedelic kraut-rock/experimental and electronic club/trance music, the result is a ~30 minute album; a gradual sinking descent between layers of the deep sea in 4 songs, each representing a layer of the deep sea. (Each song drones in one key till the ear becomes used to it, then every following song drops in a series of minor 3rd intervals).

Alex splits his single guitar signal through his many homemade-pedals into two separate amps with distinct tones and effects for each, sounding like two guitarists at once while adding an "organic" atmosphere to the otherwise mechanical sounds; Dom produces the electronic, “slowed-down kraut-rock” drums/sub-bass beats and then records a separate bass-guitar and DX-7 synthesizer on top. “Subspace” (Track 2) will be released as a single with a music video in the a few weeks, followed by the album a few weeks after that. Until then, this should give you a taste.
