Kindle screen replacement

This video is an unplanned journey into replacing a broken Amazon Kindle E-Ink LCD screen.
Somehow during a recent days outing with my brother whilst on holiday I broke the screen which was most upsetting as I love to read and have had this Kindle for years now, it has survived two drops onto a tarmac footpath and has been a great device.
I didn't relish the prospect of re-making all my sub libraries on a new Kindle and re-downloading all my books again so was delighted to find that I could get a replacement e-ink screen for a smidge under £20 from that electronic city of marvels, Shenzen, China.
Hopefully this will prove useful to other book lovers with Kindles in need of some TLC out there.
