Ten Steps to Open an Etsy Shop:
1. Figure out what you’re going to sell, and how you’re going to make it
2. Figure out your niche (Which category you’re in on Etsy)
3. Research other sellers in the same category (What are their prices? How do
they do shipping? What listing tags are they using? How can you stand out?)
4. Determine your product pricing and shipping
5. Purchase shipping supplies
6. Make your shop branding, including your banner, icon and photos
7. Write your shop Policies and About page
8. Take some good product photos
9. Set up your listings and organize shop sections
10. Open your shop!
