Wes Craven could have easily been inspired by 1982's The Sender when he wrote the script for A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors. Craven was a fan of The Sender's writer, Thomas Baum and the two would later collaborate on the Television series, Nightmare Cafe in 1992.

Outside of the Craven and Elm Street connection, is 1982's The Sender worth watching?
