This weekend's 10th Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival appears to have been a huge success. This year saw the rise of numerous celebrities, including as Erykah Badu, Andre 3000, Denzel Curry, and many more. Mustard was one of a select few producers who had stage time, and he took full advantage of it. His production of Kendrick Lamar's "Not Like Us," which still dominates the genre, has been largely responsible for his stellar year. He played the massive diss record a few times to make sure he gave the fervent audience what they wanted. However, a different clip from his show is currently trending if you search for "mustard camp flog gnaw" on Twitter. As you may recall, Mustard had been very outspoken about his dislike of Drake after the release of his collaboration with K. Dot. In fact, he reiterated his claim that he has no affection for The Boy after essentially blaming him for Faith of Mustard Seed's weak first-week sales. "I don’t think I want to make a song with that dude. He’s a strange guy," he told the Los Angeles Times. The fact that Mustard is done with him is rather obvious. But the celebrated hitmaker has you covered if you needed further persuasion. "Mustard & Friends" started playing the 2011 smash song "Crew Love" by Drake and The Weekend from Take Care. However, he deceived the entire audience just before the former's verse began. "sike!" After a shout from Mustard, the music changed to Future, Metro Boomin, and Kendrick's "Like That." Despite their disbelief, everyone in the room was clearly excited.
Drake is clearly not welcome in Camp Flog Gnaw, as evidenced by this cunning trick. As you recall, he was vehemently jeered off the stage approximately five years ago. Many were disappointed by his unexpected presence because they were expecting the reticent Frank Ocean to be out there instead. According to accounts, Drake left his show twenty minutes early and hasn't returned.
