Orthopedic Examination (Palpation, Sensory & Motor Testing, Camera Moving) 🩺 ASMR Medical RP

There are a ton of tests I've never done before in this orthopedic exam! In addition to our standard inspection and palpation, we're working with dermatomes & myotomes—the sounds for testing the dermatomes in particular came out really well—and lots of 'special' orthopedic tests like the distraction test, Spurling test, L'Hermitte's sign, Hoffman's test, Tinel's tests, and more.

Triggers include: soft speaking, some whispering, pen writing, camera moving, inspecting you, palpation, range of movement testing, sensation testing, anatomical terms, fabric sounds, narrating actions, crinkly cling wrap sounds, soft wood scraping, brushing sounds, clicky metal neuro-wheel sounds, muscle testing, reflex testing, direct percussion, and taking your blood pressure.

From Oxford Languages: "a feeling of well-being combined with a tingling sensation in the scalp and down the back of the neck, as experienced by some people in response to a specific gentle stimulus, often a particular sound. 'ASMR is triggered by things like whispering voices, paper tearing, and scalp massage.'"
