All within the top 10 from major outlets around the world, this album stands the test of time and continues to inspire musicians and writers alike today.
It peaked at number 9 in the US, and number 3 in the UK. It was introduced into the Grammy Hall of Fame, and was ranked number 38 in Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time list.
Those are the stats, these are facts, unable to be disputed. Taking out the greatest hits – This is Dylan’s 4th best selling album.
At the beginning of making this, I thought I could portray this in a way to prove it’s his best album. And for me and a lot of other people – it is. But, that’s not fact, and it never will be. It’s up to the listener to make that decision for themselves.
