12 July 1943. Four Pz.VI "Tiger" tanks of 3rd Platoon, 13th Company of 1st SS Leibstandarte Division's 502 SS sPzAbt Battalion under newly-appointed 3rd Platoon commander SS-Untersturmfuhrer Michael Wittmann are re-positioned to assist the 1st SS-Panzer Reconnaissance Battalion and some Pz.IV's and StuG's in defending the 3.1 mile gap near Prokhorovka between Waffen SS units of the Leibstandarte and Totenkopf Divisions. The Soviet 18th Tank Corps' advancing 181st and 170th Tank Brigades will attempt to penetrate the line separating the two divisions. Wittmann, his four Tigers and a few other units are all that are standing in the way of Soviet forces outflanking the southern German advance at the Battle of Kursk.

I tried to find a map to come as close as possible to the terrain near Prokhorovka and Hill 241.6, and this one in my mission is close, although the hill is significantly higher than the original firing positions of the four Tigers.

Enjoy!
