Don't expect the now-familiar nostalgic musings of a much older, more sentimental Paul. Here is Paul McCartney in his youth, before he embraced his legacy as a Beatle and mended his friendship with John Lennon.

Paul may now be one of the ipso facto ambassadors of the Fab Four, but he spent the better part of the 1960s maintaining the squeaky clean image of the Beatles and most of the 1970s playing down his Beatle past, establishing himself as a successful solo artist. This shows in these rare interviews.

This video takes you from the moment the Beatles launched the British Invasion in 1962 to the day John Lennon was assassinated in 1980.
