*🚀 How to Start Flutter Development on Mac (Target: Android) | Using VS Code & Android Studio*

This is the 1st of a 16 video series. They ALL will be uploaded and published before the end of Summer 2025.

Ready to build your first Flutter app on a MacBook? In this beginner-friendly tutorial, I’ll walk you through how to start Flutter development on *macOS**, using **VS Code* and **Android Studio**, targeting the **Android platform**.

You can do Flutter development on Windows. However, since the Mac platform is the only platform that will allow us to create iOS apps, we will focus on time on building Android apps using Flutter. The common denominator is that Windows and Mac development environments can build the Android app using Flutter. I will have a link inside this description on how to build the flutter project for iOS.

Using Flutter, we can also compile and run the Flutter app on the web, windows desktop, mac desktop, and linux desktop. However that is outside the scope of this lecture.
