Bonsai: When to start deciduous spring pruning

Spring is the time of year when lots of bonsai trees wake up and start growing. This video focusses on when to start pruning deciduous bonsai - Adam and Ash discuss why we tend to leave our bonsai to grow for a good few weeks before making our first cuts. We talk about energy in bonsai, photosynthesis and timing.

Its important to note that there will always be exceptions to any recommendations that we make and this video is aimed at beginners to bonsai cultivation, so as always, we try to keep it simple and to the point.
