In a strongly worded Instagram video, Mahhi Vij slammed trolls linking her romantically to Nadim Nadz after her divorce and questioning Tara’s birthday post for him that read, “Happy birthday Abba, I love you.” She said Nadim has been in their lives for years, Tara has called him “Abba” for six years with both parents’ consent, and that he is like a godfather and emotional support system for their family.
​Mahhi cursed out those dragging the relationship, saying “thu on you” for writing “shitty stuff” about a pure bond, and asked if people don’t say “I love you” to their best friends, siblings or chosen family. With friends like Ankita Lokhande, Arpita Khan Sharma and even Jay himself amplifying support posts, she vowed not to let anyone malign Nadim or the role he plays in Tara’s life.
