OBD I Jeep Motors, crank - no - start

Описание к видео OBD I Jeep Motors, crank - no - start

This video demonstrates the signs and symptoms of a bad MAP sensor in OBD I Jeep Motors (2.5 and 4.0 liter motors). This example is on a 1992 XJ with the 4 liter inline six. I had just replaced the MAP sensor with a new one that turned out to be bad. The issue that lead me to diagnose the sensor was a crank, no - start condition that drew my attention to the fuel pump not spooling upon turning the key from off to run.

If you are experiencing a crank - no start issue, this would be an area to check. I wouldn't make this my first area to check however, as these sensors are about 50 bucks for the good ones. DON'T CHEAP OUT ON PARTS! ESPECIALLY SENSORS!

FYI, the sensor in this video is made by Standard Motor Products and it is their "T-Series" line which is notorious for issues (seriously, google it). This isn't the first T-series part that I've had a problem with. The parts I've received from Standard Motor Products main product line seem to be working as intended.
