Target Audience: Children’s National Registered Nurses

Objectives:

1. Describe the different levels of trauma activations used to determine team size based on the anticipated severity of injury
2. Identify the essential resuscitation tasks that need to be performed within the first 2 minutes
3. Identify how varying team sizes can affect task completion during pediatric trauma resuscitation
4. Understand the concept of diminishing marginal returns as it applies to the number of personnel and task performance in trauma resuscitation
