Smoke from several fires in the area, including a series of lightning-sparked fires, continues to fill the skies in parts of California on Wednesday. The series of fires, known as the TCU September Lightning Complex, comprises at least nine different fires burning across Tuolumne, Calaveras and Stanislaus counties. There are evacuations in two of the counties, and parts of a historic gold mining town were destroyed by flames. Full information here.
