'Nothing but Net' fundraiser surpasses $1M goal for Special Olympics

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) — Debbie Antonelli knows her basketball. She's nationally renowned as an analyst, working games for ESPN, Fox, and CBS among others. She's also become a fixture in the Lowcountry.

Once a year, Antonelli hits the court in her own Mount Pleasant backyard to shoot free throws for 24 straight hours to raise money for the Special Olympics. Now in its sixth year, "Nothing but Net" is set to surpass $1 million dollars in donations.
