Both foreign head coaches of the Pakistan team, Gary Kirsten for white-ball cricket and Jason Gillespie for Tests, have recommended that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) avoid taking disciplinary actions against players, allowing them to concentrate on the upcoming international season.

ICC has plan B in place if India decline to travel to Pakistan for Champions Trophy 2025:

To cover all bases if India refuse to travel to Pakistan, the ICC have reportedly sanctioned a budget of around 65 million dollars during its recent AGM in Colombo. According to Cricbuzz, the budget cover expenses of hosting matches in locations other than Pakistan.

Wasim Akram has refused to become the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi wanted Akram to come on board to help in cricketing matters but the veteran is already tied up with commitments.
