The feature that allows us to target content to different users logged in is called Audice Targeting. In this video, I explain the following aspects of Audience Targeting:

Difference between Audience Targeting and Security & Permissions. Many users confuse Audience Targeting with Security & Permissions. Those are not the same.

Audience Targeting on Site Navigation and Hub Navigation. Once you set Audience Targeting on navigation, you can hide links and labels from the navigation based on the user logged in. The user will never see those links or labels and will not receive access denied when trying to click on the links. You can set up Audience targeting on both Site Navigation and Hun Navigation.

Audience Targeting on the News Web Part. You can also target news posts and news links to different audiences as well if you configure Audience Targeting on the News Web Part. The news posts will still exist and be accessible by all users from within the Site Pages librarit, but will not be visible when trying to access via News Web Part.

Audience Targeting on the Events Web Part. Just like with news posts, you can also target Events in the SharePoint Calendar (Events Web Part) to different groups of users.

Audience Targeting on the Quick Links Web Part. If you have links to different content, you can enable Audience Targeting on the Quick Links Web Part. This will help you keep the Quick Links area under control and only display links the user needs to see on the page.

Audience Targeting on the Highlighted Content Web Part. You can also set up Audience Targeting on the Highlighted Content Web Part (HCWP). This is useful if you are querying documents from the site and only want to display certain documents to certain users. The documents themselves will still be accessible by all users within the document library on a SharePoint Site.
