As previously stated, the current-generation CX-9 has a Skyactiv-G turbocharged 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine. When fed premium fuel, it produces 250 horsepower and 320 pound-feet of torque (93 octane). If you use ordinary gas (87 octane), the engine's output and torque will be reduced to 227 horsepower and 310 pound-feet, respectively.
The CX-90, like the two-row CX-70, will be available in rear-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive configurations
