Alliance War Boss: How to beat Double Linked MODOK -- Killmonger Hard Counter [MCOC]

In this video we will see just how amazing killmonger is to counter MODOK as an alliance boss in alliance wars. This strategy can also be used to beat Medusa. This particular MODOK is still double linked and is around 74,000. I am using buffs here to increase health and attack, which I would recommend if you have to take a double linked boss. Expect to timeout as he will have too much health for a single go. Because one of the links is power drain, I could only use my first super. For killmonger, if you can build to a third super, I would do so around 45 seconds left so you can then hit your opponent with a huge bleed stack.

For beating MODOK, the base strategy is to attack him after he uses a heavy, ends a combo, or you dodge his first super. If he has his auto block blue shield icon up, he will autoblock you. End your combo early so you don’t get attacked right away. Then repeat to get your next combo in. With Killmonger, after you dodge a single super and immediately counter attack, you will get true strike. This will allow you to attack without activating MODOK’s autoblock.

The main strategy then is to just dodge first super, attack, and the repeat. Use killmongers first super so you get counter-punch counters. This will allow you to guard and then immediately counter attack once hit by becoming unstoppable (great for stun immune nodes). Additionally, you can do the strategy of ending your combo early, dashing back, then dashing in. Only do this if your opponent is against the wall and does not have a bar of super energy.
