Music Geek’s First Time Listening to ST. VINCENT - DADDY'S HOME (2021) Album Reaction!

Описание к видео Music Geek’s First Time Listening to ST. VINCENT - DADDY'S HOME (2021) Album Reaction!

Going into this react video, all I knew about St. Vincent and her music was what I saw from the film THE NOWHERE INN. I recently watched that movie because I'm a fan of St. Vincent's collaborator on the project, Carrie Brownstein. It piqued my curiosity, so I decided to give a first-time listen to St. Vincent and her Grammy-winning 2021 album, DADDY'S HOME.

What a varied mix of styles, sounds, and moods. And an exciting collection of influences on display! From mellow '70s funk and soul, to the art rock grandeur of Pink Floyd and OK Computer era Radiohead, to the off-kilter indie pop of Fiona Apple. A surprising album for sure!

👦🏻 My name is A.J. and this channel is dedicated to my love of film and music. As an aspiring filmmaker, as well as lifelong music fan, I wanted a channel where I could discuss both. Growing up, my screen was lit up with award-winning dramas, campy sci-fi, and dark comedies. And my headphones were full of '70s prog rock, '80s punk, and '90s gangsta rap. My tastes are all over the place, so you never know what I'll react to.

❤️ Thanks for watching, and have a good day.
