Long ago, my wife and I decided that we would fill our home with the things that brought us joy. In fact, when people enter our home they often remark that it reminds them of a boutique shop--filled with all kinds of interesting things. We take such comments as compliments.

One of the ways my wife and I enjoy displaying our "personal treasures" is using shadow boxes. In this video, I show a wide variety of the shadow boxes in our home and tell a short story about each.

My hope is that this video will encourage people to get their personal treasures out of boxes and closets and display them in their living spaces. I have found that shadow boxes are a wonderful way to display many such items, because they can be hung on a wall, placed on a display stand, put on a shelf, etc. Our home is filled with shadow boxes, and their contents bring us joy every day that we live!
