Wied Ħesri (Ħesri Valley) Limits of Siġġiewi Malta
This week we will hike along the Wied Ħesri valley in the limits of Siġġiewi, Malta in full bloom with all the greenery after the rain it did during the last days. It is ideal to visit such place full of life during this period. Like all the valleys in Malta, one can find passages naturally cut in the rocks to make way for water to go through and a lot of trees and shrubs. The valleys are surrounded with fields which many are privately owned and they use these valleys to water their crops. Wied Ħesri is approximately about a 2km stretch and not that deep but very interesting to visit and experience the beauty it offers.
I always emphasize to keep the area clean and do not harm the environment when visiting such natural areas.
