All I this project took less than $400 cash (could be done a lot cheaper with a used mossberg 500 or similar shotgun)

I turned an all purpose 20 gauge Maverick 88 into a cruiser model home defense shotgun in my spare time with nothing but simple tools you can get at a hardware store… pipe cutter, hacksaw, hammer, screwdriver, and a bottle of cold blue from Cabelas.

Add a Hogue tamer grip, Tru glow clip on sight, and a Tac Star side saddle, you have a cool pistol grip home defense shotgun.
