How To Grow Bokor Cabbage (Napa Cabbage, Chinese Cabbage)
- Buy the cabbage seeds you want to grow (seeds are available at agricultural markets).
- Fertile soil (soil mixed with dry manure or compost).
- Prepare a nursery in a netting house with well-fertilized soil,
a mixture of cow dung or compost and crushed dead leaves, and water it.
Succeed and leave the land empty for 7 days.
- Before sowing the seeds, soak the seeds in warm water for 25 minutes to help speed up the seeding process grow.
- Sprinkle the seeds in the nursery and sprinkle the soil gently and water.
- Water regularly in the morning and once in the evening.
- After sowing for 3-4 weeks, the cabbage has 4 to 8 leaves, we can transplant.
- Before planting Bokor cabbage seedlings, water in the nursery for half an hour to prevent the roots from breaking.
- Pour soil mixed with manure on dry animals or compost and water thoroughly.
- Bring the good Bokor cabbage seedlings and transplanting them in the net factory.
- Transplantation should be done in the cool evening so as not to damage the stem when exposed to the sun.
- Between one clump to one clump must be about 3 feet long.
- Water regularly 3 times a day, morning, noon and evening after transplanting for 3 days.
- Be diligent in removing weeds.
- Bokor cabbage will bear fruit after transplanting in 50-100 days, depending on the variety.
