I noticed the common worries from my students, that is not to be able to play "up to tempo".Think what is your definition of "tempo", really. Allegro means "happy, light-heated". If you are not able to play as fast as Perlman or Heifetz, listen to how I render this music in my own pace...well, don't you think the same music in a slower tempo can sound just as graceful and musical.
