The cutscenes from the prologue campaign of Warcraft Ⅲ: Reign of Chaos and the demo. Thrall is contacted by a mysterious prophet who bids him to gather the Horde and sail west, to Kalimdor. On his journey there, Thrall's ships are badly damaged by a violent storm, forcing him to land on the Darkspear islands and repair his fleet. We get to know how the Darkspear trolls got integrated into the Horde, and who the Sea Witch is.

The first cinematic is called "The Prophecy".
