ED Cracked Up Sealing Young India Office In Delhi, Congress Protest Continues

In a massive escalation in the National Herald case, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) sealed the Young Indian Limited office located in the National Herald building on Wednesday (August 3). Soon after, Delhi Police stepped up security outside the Congress HQ. The National Herald case has been in the public domain for 10 years now.

The ED questioned Congress President Sonia Gandhi last week (July 27) for over three hours for the third time in the National Herald newspaper-linked money laundering case. The questioning pertains to the charge of alleged financial irregularities in the Congress-promoted Young Indian Private Limited, which owns the National Herald newspaper.
