If you're looking for a memorable weekend adventure within driving distance of Cartersville, Georgia — Crystal River, Florida might surprise you!

In this video, we take you along as we paddle through Crystal River to the famous Three Sisters Springs, known for their stunningly clear blue water and (in the right season!) manatees. We were a little too early for the manatees, but the peaceful paddle and views were worth every minute.

This stop was part of a bigger road trip—we tend to avoid flying (Chad especially!) so we love discovering spots like this along the way. The drive from Cartersville is about 6.5 hours, making it totally doable as a long weekend or family add-on trip.

🌿 No hiking required — just pure kayaking bliss through some of the most beautiful natural springs in the country.
