How do I complain about AEPS withdrawal?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Report frauds - If you are a victim of such frauds, file a complaint via the complaint portal (https://www.npci.org.in/register-a-co...) or dial helpline number 1930 to report the incident on National Cybercrime Reporting Portal www.cybercrime.gov.in and your Bank

What are the problems with AEPS?
This initiative follows reported cases of fraudulent AePS transactions where cybercriminals have exploited customers' Aadhaar credentials to withdraw money. The fraudulent activities include the use of silicone thumbs to operate biometric POS devices and ATMs, resulting in unauthorised access to users' bank accounts.

How many times we can withdraw money from Aeps?
We refer to NPCI Circular NPCI/2021-22/AEPS/65 dated 20th December 2021 wherein Issuer Banks were advised to implement a standardised limit of a minimum 5 approved cash withdrawal transactions per month, per customer.

How do I activate Aeps service?
To use AEPS, customers need to register their Aadhaar number with their bank and link it to their account. Once registered, they can use any AEPS-enabled banking service provider to access their account using their Aadhaar number and biometric authentication.

What is the new AePS rule?
AePS is a payment service that allows a bank customer to use Aadhaar as his/her identity to access his/ her respective Aadhaar-enabled bank account and perform basic banking transactions such as balance inquiries, cash deposits, cash withdrawals, and remittances through a BC/Agent.
