Massive Anti-Government Protests in Hungary | Andrzej Sadecki

In a massive demonstration in downtown Budapest, tens of thousands of people protested against the government of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. The protest, led by Péter Magyar, a former government insider turned critic, aimed to unite both conservative and liberal Hungarians disillusioned by Orbán’s governance. Magyar, who exposed insider knowledge of Orbán’s administration, declared the protest “the biggest political demonstration in years”. To shed more light on this issue we invited Andrzej Sadecki from the Centre for Eastern Studies to the studio.
