I paid a visit to Dennis Farms who grow chipping potatoes, or fries outside the UK. They grow about 1000 acres now, and are merchants as well as growers; and sell their crop to chip shops and restaurants in the south east of England. The machine is a Grimme Varitron 470, four row harvester, I attempt to explain how it works.
