CLIFF JOYNER vs JOSE PARICA - 2002 Derby City Classic One Pocket Division

The finals of the 2002 Derby City Classic One Pocket Division came down to Cliff Joyner and Jose Parica.

Joyner was a future One Pocket Hall of Fame member with multiple US Open One Pocket titles to his credit already.

Parica, known as “The Leader of the Invasion” based on him being one of the first Filipino players to come to the states and dominate the game, was also a future One Pocket Hall of Fame member and was also the defending champion of this event.

These two players had already played twice in this event, with each player getting a win. This was one race to three, alternating break, for the title.

Danny Diliberto and Billy Incardona called all of the action.
