SANTORINI Greece 4K | Driving across the island

Scenic drive in Santorini Greece! Watch the unique landscapes and the breathtaking views, as we'll drive on the most beautiful route on the island. Starting our trip in Akrotiri, we'll head over to Oia and on our way we'll pass through Fira (Thira), Firostefani and Imerovigli.

The island was the site of one of the largest volcanic eruptions in recorded history: the Minoan eruption (sometimes called the Thera eruption), which occurred about 3,600 years ago at the height of the Minoan civilization. The eruption left a large caldera surrounded by volcanic ash deposits hundreds of meters deep.

The video was filmed in August 2023, during the high season.
