Far From Home tells the story of Ishaya Bello, (Mike Afolarin) a talented but poor teenager struggling to pursue his dream of becoming an artist. Luck shines on him when he stumbles on the rare opportunity to win a scholarship to the elite Wilmer Academy. However, Ishaya soon encounters trouble when he begins to deal ecstasy at the institution, leading him to more trouble as he seeks to kidnap his best school friend, Frank (Emeka Nwagbaraocha), to help him get out of the trouble he was in. Ishaya soon gets into more trouble as he exposes cartel boss Oga Rambo (Bolanle Ninalowo) and his brother who sells MDMA and other drugs to students in school through Ishaya, Oga Rambo then attacks Wilmer Academy, which leads to more trouble for Ishaya and his family.
