This is brand new series "Forex Trading Strategies Analysis with Python". In this series, we will analyse all the trading strategies including technical indicators, candle stick patterns etc to see how effective they are.
This is first part of the series and in this part we will first get historical forex data for free from IG.
We will write Python scripts and load the data into SQLite database.

There are so many trading strategies out there which you read in books or online forums. Some of them would be SMA 50 crossover 100, Morning star, combination for various technical indicators such as MACD, RSI, SMA and candlestick patterns. But how effective they are, and if you had use those strategies would have made money or lost.
In this series I am going to test various strategies and going to teach you a method with Python so that you can test various trading strategies yourself.
